Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from it. By browsing this site or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

This store is operated by PREPHAUS S.A.S ("we", "us", "our"), trading as PREPHAUS.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that the payment method you use belongs to you and that you are authorised to use it.

2. Products, descriptions and images

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Product photographs are illustrative; minor variation in colour, finish or packaging may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors and to update product information at any time without notice.

3. Prices and currency

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes and shipping charges, which are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an evident error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, and will notify you before doing so.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. The contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order where the product is unavailable, where we identify a pricing or description error, or where we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised use of a payment method. If we cancel, we refund any amount already charged in full.

5. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. Card details are handled by the payment processor and by Shopify; we do not receive or store your full card number. The charge on your statement will appear as PREPHAUS.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds, cancellations and warranty claims are governed by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

7. Product use and safety

Several of our products contain sharp blades or are intended for use with heat. Use each product only for its intended purpose and follow any instructions supplied with it. Keep bladed products away from children. We are not liable for injury or damage resulting from misuse.

8. Accounts

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, and not to interfere with its operation or security.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, product photography, graphics and the PREPHAUS name and logo, is owned by us or licensed to us and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights available to you where you live.
